About me
Darsharni Martins is a singer-songwriter from the Mid-Western Region, with a folk and indie sound influenced by Hozier, Noah Kahan, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Bon Iver. She regularly performs locally, covering genres from ‘80s rock to country. Recently, she opened for 2x Aria Winner Fanny Lumsden’s ‘Country Halls Tour’ and sold out her debut headline show ‘Heard it in the Grapevines.’

Within an artistic and professional environment, TDP inspires, nurtures and expands the creative talent of select young musicians, singers and songwriters and develops in them the artistry, optimism and resilience required to pursue a professional career in the performing arts.
Over three decades, the program has graduated hundreds of talented students and developed an esteemed list of alumni such as Human Nature, Sam Fischer, Angus and Julia Stone, David Le’aupepe (Gang of Youths), Morgan Evans, Brad Cox, Imogen Clark, Ashleigh Rubenach, The McClymonts, Nicholas Gentile, Jeremy Boulton, Diana Rouvas, Julie Lea Goodwin and Paulini to name just a few.

At the beginning of 2024 Darsharni was selected to open for 2x Aria winner Fanny Lumsden's Country halls tour for a sold out show in Goolma, NSW. Darsharni was extremely grateful and proud to be apart of an amazing show!
